Are there any independent specifiers that do MPE specs? If yes who are they?

To write MPE specifications one needs to have an understanding of the MPE codes and practices as well as an understanding of specification writing practices. Does such an individual exist? The lack of response suggests that this is a valid question

I have had to deal with a similar issue with regards to structural specification sections. The reality is that engineers are not educated about specification writing practices while specification consultants do not have an appreciation of the technical aspects of these specification sections.

I have not worked with Lynn on project but we have been in touch for years. He seems like a good person to work with.

Mark, I agree with you.
Architectural specifiers have quite niche but opportunities for engineering specifiers are immeasurable.

Speaking as an MPE consultant for about 50 years: Our Engineers write their own specs and it's part of the design process, not separate. There are some of us who end up being head spec writer, but it's still for Engineers in the same office and there is constant communication between us. Or there had better be. I can't imagine writing MPE specs for another firm without being embedded and conversant with the actual design.
