Does anyone know of a manufacturer and product name for a screen material or shade or board that can be applied directly on windows so it can deflect electronic sound waves and frequency from building exterior that can be? I've heard of such a screen being used in board room and highly confidential rooms in closedly spaced buildings to prevent electronic eave dropping. |

I have not heard of such a thing, though perhaps it exists. Also, sound inside the room will cause glass to vibrate, and this can be picked up by sensitive equipment on the outside. I'd put the board room interior to the building if it's that sensitive. |

Ray, I know such coatings exist. I had a government project about 12 years ago that required such a coating on the glass. Unfortunately, we were instructed to have the glass delivered to the agency so thay could take it to get coated, so we never knew what the coating was or who applied it. |

The acronym TEMPEST came back to me and I was able to track down a product by TempestUSA distributed by Pilkington. Link below: http://www.tempestusa.com/emiglass.html |
