While it is not a stated rule, any person who represents a manufacturer should be stating the company they represent and their background in the posting.

I consider this posting to be somewhat over the edge of acceptable. If we start to get additional postings like this, I plan to convert the board to a semi-moderated board. This means that registered users' postings will be posted immediately and non-registered postings will require moderator approval. Any registered user over the edge will be cautioned and then removed from the approved list.

Colin,I do not represent any manufacturer.I came across your site and have read several postings reguarding waterproofing questions.I have 21 years of experience in the commercial construction arena solving problems and making recommendations relating to water. My sole goal is only to help your group. It is not my goal to "sell up" for my benefit. At no time will my opinions have bias or favor. My experience has involved with the following system types and manufactures in Elastomeric below grade waterproofing,Joint sealants (all types),Vertical wall coatings,Deckcoatings,Watereppellents,Epoxy repair systems and coatings,Structural concrete repair products,Expansion Joint systems,Chemical resistant and containment coatings.etc

If you feel at any time that my experience or help has no value, please leave a post and i will stop viewing your site.Like I mentioned, I am only here to participate and help.

I would like a recommendation for a commercial project that I'm working on that the client wants a non asphalt waterproofing product that will be applied above grade on a cavity wall that is fairly priced. And any suggestions on products suitable for reflection ponds (no fish)

Questions -
Do you need color stability?
What are you assuming for preparation of the concrete?
Is the assembly going to induce a push/pull pressure on teh coating (ie: is your pool over an unconditioned space; is it a slab on grade, etc)

For your Cavity wall application look for WR Grace procor @

For your relecting pool application Non Flexible system would be..http://www.xypex.com/products/modified.html

A flexible liner you could look at ...http://www.cimind.com/

Both of these systems work very well......Hope this helps.....
