Does anyone have experience with the Pac-clad Prestige Elite or Compact shingles? They are copper wrapped around a "sandwich" of fiberglass and bitumen. They look pretty... |

We havn't used them yet. We had the Peterson and the Tegola reps here for a lunch and learn when we were looking for some alternatives to zinc shingles. We looked at Tegola's zinc coated product, but found that it didn't have the up close appeal that we needed in our particular instances and one of the projects is on our harbor in Boston. I did spec a small area with the copper coated shingles to eliminate an absuredly small area of standing seam copper roofing with an extraordinary price because of local union jurisdictions. The job is bid, but this won't be built for another year. |
