Has anyone specified a bi-fold hangar door? What company(ies) did you work with? How did you write the spec? Would you be willing to share that spec with me?
Thanks for whatever help y'all can give.

We have used Electric Power Door and Door Engineering and Manufacturing for large custom garage doors and a hangar or two.

Just to be clear - this door needs to fold horizontally, not vertically.

We recently used Wilson Doors www.wilsondoors.com for an oversized custom vertical folding door that was finished with curtainwall extrusions and metal panels to "disappear" into the surrounding curtainwall system. Worked well. I beat up on a standard sectional overhead door spec to describe the requirements. Worked well. Looks great.

Thanks for the help. The project is in Madison, WI, so Wilson is next door. Electric, Door and Crown are also on my list of manufacturers. And I've got a sectional overhead door section that I can take to task. I'll make a first pass at it today. You guys are great!
