I am looking for a resource to help in investigating the alternatives to colored stainless steel panels. I have been looking at the Rimex Group and etched stainless steel. Are there other similar alternatives available? Is anyone familiar with the advantages and disadvantage of colored stainless over other panels?

You might want to look at Nickel (Development) Institute and Specialty Steel Industry of North America websites for resource info. But from what I recall, there are a few processes for coloring s/s, one of which is so caustic that it's not "legal" (or even done in US).

I'd start with this site - they have some links I haven't checked out, and the site also has phone numbers to call for help:

http://www.ssina.com/index2.htm

It's the Stainless Steel Information Center
