Any ideas for a manufacturer or two of hollow metal frame interior fixed windows with integral blinds? Or do I just specify the blind and let the contractor figure out how to put it together with a frame and glass? I know of aluminum frame windows, but this Owner wants hollow metal.

and yes, I've done a search here for integral blind as well as on Google. There are a couple of manufacturers in the UK, but that's a little far to go for a small remodel...

I'd try talking to the aluminum window makers who do this, because I bet they buy-out the intgral blind systems from other manufacturers. You could then talk to the blind manufacturers directly. Large glass fabrication manufacturers may also be able to help with this, as they may have sources for these products. However, it sounds like a fully-custom installation, which obviously has an increased chance of problems with possibly no one to stand behind the installation.

Another product that may work is "glass 'n' blinds" by Erwin & Associates, Kimberly, AL. Not much on their website but they will fax you more complete information.
