What would the MasterFormat number be for slat wall (built into the project - not a display added later). Does anyone have a specification or suggested manufacturer for this product?

Assuming you are using the product as a storage system, I'd include in in 10670 (MF95) Prefabricated Storage Systems or 10 57 00 (MF04) Wardrobe and Closet Specialties. I found a manufacturer that carries the system, StoreWall. Its on the 4Specs manufacturer's listing.
Good luck.

When I've specified these systems, since they were used as applied "paneling", I specified them under the Architectural Woodwork section.

4specs shows them under 11 2100 Mercantile Equipment.

This will be a steel wall system, so we didn't think Architectural Woodwork would be an appropriate section.

Thanks for the manufacturer suggestions and the link to the previous thread on this subject. I appreciate your help.

I just finished writing a section today. The name and number is 10141 Slot Wall Display Systems. I have no idea where we got the number, but it was an old section in the master file.

David, would you be willing to share that section with me? I wouldn't use it verbatim, but only as a guide to develop my own. If so, my email is slund@sehinc.com.

I have it in my master along with other products in 06255 Prefinished Hardboard Paneling, which translates to 06 25 13. I see MF04 also has 06 26 13 Profile Board Paneling, which sounds like the product in question.
