LEED SS Credit 7.2 references ASTM E 1980 for calculating the SRI. ASTM E 1980 was withdrawn in 2010 so, by what other method should the SRI be calculated? |

None. It is still a requirement to use the standard, withdrawn or not, to calculate the SRI. Until LEED changes the requirement, it should stand as is, and the standard can still be used, and is still available from ASTM for information purposes. The standard was withdrawn because it had not been updated in the 8 years since its last approval, which is the rule for ASTM standards. |

We've heard that ASTM E 1980 committee did not quite finish their work in time to avoid the automatic withdrawal date, but that the standard will be updated and resubmitted to ASTM shortly. It's the only way to establish SRI. |

I have a Client in Shanghai, China who wants to build a LEED certified home. But I vaguely remembered that LEED for Home is only available for project sites within USA. Is this true or false? And also, is there a LEED for Home v3 out yet? |

Another obvious question. To secure the LEED point associated with engaging a LEED AP, is it essential that the LEED AP was acredited under the new system (with specialist designation) or can an appointed LEED AP who had not opted for the new system still be counted towards earning that innovation in design credit? |
