Does anyone have any experience pursuing and achieving an ID credit for an "educational outreach program"? If you look at the ID credit catalog published by the USGBC (http://www.usgbc.org/ShowFile.aspx?DocumentID=3569), it notes that an educational outreach program must consist of two of three possible parts: 1) a comprehensive building signage program, 2) a manual, guideline or case study document, and 3) an outreach program or building tours. We would like to author a case study document for our building and conduct some building tours, but I'm curious what the requirements are for these? What info needs to be included in the case study? How many building tours? Etc... And when submitting the LEED letter template for this ID credit, I assume we just need to describe what we "intend" on doing, and don't need to have the actual case study already complete, for instance? |
