He wasn't prepared to address the questions that most CSI members would have and couldn't address the questions raised. I hope CSI didn't pay a lot to play in traffic. This seems like an interesting, esoteric exercise but I don't see a practical application, at least for design professionals. I certainly don't see a practical application in my day-to-day life and I'm one of the people who actually use both MF and UF often (but OmniClass almost never at this time). They should've set it up with someone who might know what practical application it has for design professionals. If it does. Does this appeal to spec people who start with Uniformat in schematic design and need to flip to Masterformat for construction documents? Is it useful for cost estimators?
