For some products that are usually thought of as exterior but can be brought indoors, like bike racks, plants, there can be an exterior Division and an interior Division the item appears in. Any thoughts on 334236 - Stormwater Trench Drains that are used in lower level parking for a project that has no site to speak of? I will probably just keep it as Division 33. Civil specs are not in my scope for this project though. And the civil is not carrying this item in their specs because it is indoors. It is not a problem for me to specify it, I'm just wondering whether to monkey around with the MasterFormat number. |

Should/would trench drains be a Div 22 plumbing fixture? Who is showing piping connecting trench drains to sewer or wherever? Have you ever noticed that when Masterworks generates a TofC that it inserts subgroup categories, "Facility Services Subgroup" (Divs 21-28) and "Site and Infrastructure Subgroup" (Divs 31-33) |
