Suggestions on where to specify a "Murphy" bed? I'm considering 113036 or 125830 titled "Retractable Beds." Other ideas? Jeff Wilson Wilson Consulting Inc Narberth PA |

Division 12 makes more sense to me - it's furnishings, not equipment. |

Is that the bed that doesn't come down when you want it to, or it goes up when it isn't supposed to? Oh, I'm sorry, that's "Murphy's" bed. Ron Geren, FCSI Lifetime Member, AIA, CCS, CCCA, CSC, SCIP

If it's a specified product, that suggests it is permanently installed, unlike a piece of furniture. If so, and if it's part of a system of casework in a space, maybe it should be specified as a component or accessory in a casework section. That way the casework fabricator can make sure that the system will properly fit and be coordinated with the casework it's going into. |
