It was an unusual condition enclosing a monumental stairway. Had to develop from scratch. The rational being that the smoke curtain was detailed using the same parts (glass, U-channel and setting gaskets, and miscellaneous trims) used on the guardrails, except of course, they were hanging from the ceiling. It made an interesting section drawing, with the guardrail, floor/ceiling cross-section, fascia trims, and the smoke barrier, with the glass on the guardrail and barrier precisely aligned on-center. If you're talking about SmokeGuard's rolling overhead curtains used to protect elevator hoistway entrances, I use 078713 "Elevator Hoistway Smoke Containment System".
