MasterFormat '04 does not list fitness room mats (recycled rubber flooring for weight rooms). Do I put the mats in section 096566 Resilient Athletic Flooring? I already have a spec for Mondo in that section.

Thanks!

We do lots of recreation projects that typically will have 2-3 different types of resilient athletic flooring. That's when, at least for us, it makes sense to use the additional decimal and digits in the section number...... 096566.01, 096566.02, etc.

I would put them all in Section 096566. I believe that MasterSpec includes recycled rubber floor tiles in their section. I don't know if this is what you're using. When there are multiple products used in different locations, this is where drawing designations or schedules come into play.
