This ought to set the MF04 committee back somewhat--

Where do you locate Hiny-Hiders?

[OK, it toilet partitions, [www.scrantonproducts.com] but just can't get over putting this in a decent and respectable spec]

Ralph, practicing in PA, I see this product quite often. Their literature is good for a laugh among the interns.

They've been around for quite some time and are a good quality product - in spite of their name. Of course, you could always ventilate the Toilet Room with a Big Ass Fan...

FYI-- Scranton Products has three product brands-- Santana, ComTec and Capitol.

However, they have but one product line, so the manufacturer name should be just "Scranton Products" [with brand suffixes if you choose]

The following seems appropriate for this topic:

Well, I freely admit that I haven’t yet seen “Everything” but it’s getting close. I just received a review set of specs from an MEP engineer and, as requested, they have prepared their specs following MasterFormat 2004. Hooray. However, in several locations, they make reference to commissioning in Division 50! Good Grief, we’ve given them 49 individual divisions and even then they want to stick something new on the end.

I plan to pleasantly explain to them that there are lots of opportunities for commissioning to be placed in the other 49 divisions.

Seems like that is par for the course to me Doug! I can never get them to go along and I knew MasterFormat 2004 in all its new and glorious divisions and sections updates STILL would not get them to key into our ideas of being a design TEAM. Those updates were to their benefit as well...to bad!!!
