What section would I put moisture detection systems? I have a Detec catalog that I need to file. |

There's nothing in the keyword index for moisture monitoring (which is how Detec seems to market their system). Maybe Division 25? Or, what about making your own section under 07 01 00 which is Operation and Maintenance of Thermal and Moisture Protection? |

Division 28 is for Electronic Access Control and Intrusion Detection; 283000 is Electronic Detection and Alarm, including fire, smoke, carbon-monoxide, radiation, fuel-gas, fuel-oil, and refrigerant. There are open numbers that could work for moisture detection and alarm - 283600 and up to 284000. |

See 28 30 00 Electronic Detection and Alarm. According to the explanation for this Level 2 number and title, this includes "signaling equipment and automated fire, smoke, gas, and leak detection and warning systems." Create an appropriate Level 3 MasterFormat 2004 number and title based on a unassigned number (23 36 ##?). |
