What section number do I use for a four-fold metal door. These doors are replacing the traditional overhead coiling sectional doors in fire stations. These doors open much faster than coiling doors. |

Are you refering to doors like Door Engineering and Manufacturing's F-Series Four-Fold Door? If so, I would specify it in Section 08 35 13 "Folding Doors" or more specifically 08 35 13.33 "Panel Folding Doors." |

David: I just checked Door Engineering and Manufacturing's website and they have a guide spec that you can use to start with, and they have it numbered 083XX under the MasterFormat 1995 edition. The website for the spec is http://www.doorengineering.com/design_resources/four_fold/four_fold_specs.doc. |

Yes! Door Engineering! Seems like even manufacturers are confused about what section number they fall under! |
