My reluctance to put them in 087100 is that quite often we hire a hardware consultant to write that section, especially if lots of security/alarm system coordination will be required. Having the Knox Box in a separate section means I don't have to ensure the hardware consultant includes it. We also often have a consultant writing the hardware section. I was only thinking in terms of making it easier for the AHJ to find.
