Has anyone else received a mailing from this group? The postcard gives the website - AE911TRUTH dot ORG slash WTC7 and asks "Did you know a third tower fell on 9/11?" and "The 47-story World Trade Center 7 collapsed symmetrically in free fall at 5:20 PM. The National Institute of Standards and Technology attributed the collapse to fire, but a new computer modeling study at the University of Alaska Fairbanks concludes that fire could not have caused the collapse." The recipient of the card is asked to "see the collapse", "read the report", and "sign the petition". It appears my contact info is through either Linkedin or CSI.
Thoughts? |

Thank you for bringing this new report to my attention. I believe the group does very important work and I support them. I urge you all to go to their website ae911truth.org, download the report, and sign the petition.

Until other top flight engineering researchers have a chance to review and comment on the report I believe it is premature at best to jump on the "AE911truth" petition. Their objections to the collapse of towers 1 & 2 didn't hold water. I see no reason to give them the benefit of the doubt on this. Occam's razor. |

Hi Lynn.
I am very familiar with the group.
The petition requesting a correction to the original Building 7 NIST report was submitted on April 15, 2020 to NIST with around 100 architects/engineers signing the request, as well as 10 family members of victims of 911.
NIST has acknowledged receipt of the petition and is required to respond within 4 months of the submission date.
You can still join as a requester to the petition, which I assume is why you received something. |

"Guest:" I wasn't impressed with what I read. As I am not an expert I will await input from other experts before reaching a final judgement. Just like any scientific exercise, until qualified independent experts review the report it's usefulness is open to question.
Since the report was just published, that may take a while. I am not saying that it is wrong, but that I am withholding judgement. On the other hand, I found the complaints about the NIST report of collapse towers 1 and 2 not to be convincing, at all. |

The AE911 Truth organization was founded by conspiracy theorists who are convinced the WTC towers came down due to controlled demolitions. Their purpose in funding this recently published study was to further that unfounded conspiracy theory.
Their recent report should be read in concert with the NIST reports. There is a separate NIST report on Tower 7. Evaluate both then judge for yourself.
Personally, I have never given much credence to the work of AE911 Truth organization. As an alternative, to make sure I get enough silly conspiracy with my breakfast, I've been looking into the Flat Earth Movement. You can find chapters all around the globe. |
