The other day, I emailed a contractor friend and thanked him for attending our local Specifier Share Group and apologized that the meeting had turned into a "brag/(female dog) session." Well his company's profanity filter kicked my email back saying that my email would not go through. So I changed the "b" word to "gripe" and my email went through.
Profanity filter, who knew?

Many years ago, before Google and other advanced search engines, I typed "Metal Studs" or "Heavy Gauge Metal Studs" or some such thing into a '90's search engine like Ask Jeeves and got, well just say what I got wasn't safe for work. |

Years ago, I needed to find equipment to mount something on a wall. So I searched for "hangers". Wrong thing to type into a search engine. |

Despite the "Definitions" article, some eyebrows were once raised, with the comment, "This can't be true," regarding text in a tree-trunk stabilization spec:

I was once looking for images of vegetation to complete a rendering in photoshop. An image search for "trees" and "grass" gave me what I expected. A search for "bush" did not. |
