I often feel like both: A THOUGHT FOR TODAY: Writers, like teeth, are divided into incisors and grinders. -Walter Bagehot, journalist and businessman (3 Feb 1826-1877) Courtesy of A Word A Day; www.wordsmith.org |

Ken, do you ever feel like a canine - either the tooth or the animal? Sometimes I feel I'm treated like the latter. |

While there are many contributors to 4specs who are known for their incisive comments, specifiers as a whole would, I have to admit, fall into the grinder category. Of course, in New York, being a grinder would make us a hero. |

Dave, that's exactly what I was thinking. (Not the food part, the mostly grinding-it-out part. Even for incisive writers, the bulk of our work is grinding.) |

Ok Dave, I thought we were talking grinders, not groaners. Thanks for putting a smile on my face. Cheaper than getting my face lifted. |

If we are grinders, perhaps it's because we work on so many projects with cavities and we are trying to prevent decay. Michael Chusid, RA FCSI CCS www.chusid.com www.buildingproduct.guru |
