We just received a substitution request from "Alfrex" for MCM panels on a large project. Their datasheet appears to check all of the boxes for the technical aspects I specified. Has anyone else on this forum had any experience (good or bad) with this manufacturer? Any concerns that I should be cautious about? Thanks in advance! |

Seem to have all the testing reports I typically enjoy seeing, including the ICC Report. I like to see a thorough project history of at least 5-10 years (depending on product). Probably closer to 10 years for this product. |

Making rectilinear panels with the finish and performance characteristics you need is only the first step. Sometimes your designers will have made critical uses of specific trims and detailing only available from the specified product. Or you find out the drawings were all based on importing BIM objects, with copyrights, from the specified product, and they are paying attention. |
