Question for my brethren specifiers in Miami/Dade area. I have a project at Dadeland Mall which includes exterior planting. Does anyone have a section for specifying for hurricane protocol or performance requirements? Plants are Platipus trees. I have a brochure for an anchoring system. |

Wayne, IMHO you should enlist the services of a local Landscape Architect, I have several who are clients, Raymond Jungles and Savino Miller are good Consultants. I prepared specs for the Fashion Wing in 2012. I include under submittals : Hurricane/Windstorm Preparedness Plan, I can forward to you, been using for past 10 years, seems t be effective. |

Dadeland Mall should have Protocols avail from Management, all the big malls do in South Florida. |
