Viva Railings has a new railing infill, laser cut metal, very cool, my client is calling for it to be used on railings in a retail building, there are no specs available on web site for this new product, so am I just crazy at being concerned about using laser cut stainless steel, to me it sounds like razor cut? Is there a way to laser cut stainless steel without leaving a razor edge? This is he downside of working on weekends, no manufacturer responses, but there is always this forum. |

In my opinion, nothing to overly worry yourself about. We’ve done a fair amount of laser cut metal and never had an issue with sharp edges. Spec a sample in submissions to verify. |
