Does anyone of a perforated hat channel for exterior cladding that is similar to Knight Wall HCI system? The GC/CM says the product specified is too expensive and is looking for cheaper alternatives. David G. Axt, CCS, CSI, SCIP Specifications Consultant Axt Consulting LLC |

I don't have an answer for you, but I have a project with three buildidngs using the same cladding system. We specified Knightwall, and the contractor used their own system for the first two, complaining all the way, and then when it got to the third bldg, they voluntarily switched back to Knightwall and I never heard a peep. |

The CI Girt is a really nice design. I have yet to see a a similar product that is as easy to install for the contractor. |

I just looked at your link David. My Knightwall installation is a little different. I wanted a better drainage path than just the punched horizontals, so we ran vertical channels first, then horizontals outboard of that. This is what we used vertically: http://knightwallsystems.com/products/knight-ci-system-rainscreen-attachment/ |
