The fabricators of "curved" glass call it Bent Glass. You will get some fabricators if you use bent glass as a search term. I also see a couple manufacturers listed at 4specs under 08 8100 - Glass and Fabrications. The bent glass fabricator may end up as a sub-contractor to the general glazing contractor. Most likely your bent glass for architectural use will be only bent in one axis, but these manufacturers can also do compound shapes like automotive glass. So you may want to mention "bent glass curved on a single axis as shown on the Drawings". |

Robin - when I was looking for similar information a month ago, I found very little. Ultimately I wrote the bent glass spec around ASTM C 1464 and focused on qualifications of fabricators. There are a number of fabricators nationwide, including Bent Glass Design, California Glass Bending, CristaCurva, and Precision Glass Bending. Hopefully this helps a bit. |

I followed the same path Edward did. Based it on ASTM C1464 and researched and ultimately listed Califronia Glass Bending, Precision Glass Bending and Standard Bent Glass as fabricators. I checked with each of those fabricators to confirm that they have the capacity to fabricate the size and shape of bent glass the design team wanted. |
