I have been provided with the manufacturer name WOODN for a specific suspended linear wood slat ceiling. While the name WOODN seem familiar, I am unable to locate product using this name in all my search engine options.

Does someone know the source of this product or manufacturer.

Thanks,

Wayne

If they are out there, they sure don't have a web presence.

This is a great example of the problem with designers using Google - at the very bottom of the brochure is the Chinese and Italian addresses and no US contact info, and a 2012 date on the website. Just my thoughts...

We are using Woodn on several So FL projects, I've already hooked Wayne up, when I have time I will enlighten my friends on 4specs.

I had some contact with them a few years ago. If you can't find what you need, try lorenzo.fascina@woodn.com

I love it when an architect tells me "I used Garage Doors Are Us" as basis of design.

I have to admit, though, that it can be fun to track down something with nothing to work with but its appearance in a picture.

When I've been told "I used Garage Doors Are Us", I have used that as an opportunity to advocate for the use of 4specs. I've found that many designers and architects are not aware of 4specs existence, but they quickly become enthusiastic converts upon learning about it.

Thanks Colin!

They should start with the manufacturers we list in our specs. I do encourage the use of 4specs, but it's odd when an architect doesn't speak with the technical staff. Unfortunately, it's not so odd that they don't read the specs.

My encouragement of the use of 4specs is especially during DD, when the architects are considering multiple materials or products, and before we've started writing the specifications.
