If it's a variation on sodium silicate please don't waste your time. Speaking from personal experience, not as a member of the firm where I am employed, I would not consider this to be a beneficial option. |

http://www.spggogreen.com/ It's a concrete additive in the family of we can cure your moisture flooring options better than the other guy. They also have a self leveling underlayment and a liquid product to go over existing concrete. The contractor has thrown it out there as an alternative and we have been asked to evaluate it along with a few other products. Basically, we have senior living. memory care projects where spills and urine are a problem. How to seal the concrete under the carpet/flooring is the question. We have slab on grade and self-leveling gypcrete on plank. The challenge is that most of these products are looking to combat the issue of water based adhesives and moisture in concrete. Not the same criteria as our challenge. Similar, but not the same. Russ Hinkle |
