Anytime you are looking for something just put in your browser or google that term. Like for this I put I... Mineral wool semi rigid insulation Kraft faced. From the list that returns you have easy access to many manufacturers you can link to for insulation types. I usually try for shorter 2 or 3 word descriptions but this very specific term yielded specific responses and product PDFs from numerous manufacturers. I do this for everything. William C. William: I tried a several google searches and wasn't finding kraft faced, that is what led me to question if it is available for mineral batt insulation. Were you able to find something i wasn't? |

Knauf is glass fiber. They're threatening to provide mineral fiber soon. Not sure why you'd want paper on mineral fiber. Client request? |

The Knauf page says "glass mineral wool". Is this different than "mineral wool" ? |

Dewayne, Yes they are two (2) different materials that come in different colors and are manufactured from different raw materials. I have never seen a paper faced MINERAL WOOL product Kraft-paper faced. Only unfaced or foil-faced. Go to ROXUL or Owens Corning THERMAFIBER on 4specs.com for further reading. |

"Mineral Wool" is the general term that describes insulation made primarily of three different types of fibers manufactured from glass, rock, or slag. So saying "glass mineral wool" is technically correct to distinguish the product as being made from glass fiber rather than stone of slag fibers. |
