Has anyone ran into this before? Closest we could find is UL 779 but it is based on wide flange structure. We are under 2009 IBC and need to separate a sleeping (R) use group from a B use group. There are so few assemblies that it just isn't worth the effort--I recommend using 1-hour assemblies. However, there appears to be no assemblies that incorporate standard bar joists with wood decking. There are several assemblies that use fabricated light-gauge steel joists.
