Typically we specify: Two-part epoxy adhesive, designed for bonding to concrete surfaces, ASTM C 881. But apparently the client wants more, product recommendations that won't fail? |

I've seen manufacturer's details call for butyl tape and bolts/spikes to be used to install speed bumps in parking garages (PG) or surface lots. I hadn't thought about using an epoxy adhesive. What does the manufacturer for your speed bumps recommend? Surely they have some information on adhesives that will work with their products and "properly-prepared" substrates if they are intended to be installed using adhesive. |

We have always specified epoxy to mount concrete bumpers to concrete. Was the failure caused by the product or the installation? Tommy Mejia GEM Specifications, Inc. |

Tommy, the Architect just advised the speed bumps are hard rubber/plastic. I asked for the manufacturer name or the replacement source, these guys seem to think I know everything. |
