has anyone written a spec for something like this: https://www.stanleyaccess.com/transit-doors-and-gates-products

I don't know specifics yet, just looking for something i can start with as a spec

I would tackle by starting with a MasterSpec 084229.23 or download dormakaba ESA 500 spec and doctor from there.

I would tackle by contacting the manufacturer and telling them to contact Phil or I (or other consultant) to write a guide specification for them.

I found this spec on their website, looks like a starting point. It was too big for me to attach.

It seems like they would be like any other automatic sliding door; but rated for high duty cycling, and interconnected to the train control system.
