The manufacturer's warranty says, "This warranty applies only to material PURCHASED BY YOU, the owner, in unopened cartons for your own use and not for resale. This warranty is NOT TRANSFERABLE and APPLIES TO ORIGINAL PURCHASER only. [Emphasis added.]
Have you had manufacturer's resist honoring a warranty claim from a building owner because the "original purchaser" was a contractor or sub-contractor"?
