Good afternoon all -
I would like to take the opportunity to invite you to www.awinet.org to participate in the public comment period for the AWI 0641 - Architectural Wood Casework Standard. The draft standard and associated comment form are available directly from the homepage. Your input is greatly appreciated.
You can also download the current AWI Standards - AWI 100 - Submittals; AWI 200 - Care and Storage; AWI 300 - Materials; ANSI/AWI 0620 - Finish Carpentry/Installation; as well as the Architectural Woodwork Standards, 2014 Redline Edition with watermarks to indicate the sections replaced by the current standards. These are all available free of charge by clicking the "Store" link on the website and creating a username and password if you don't already have one.

Ashley,
The website seems to think you need our mailing addresses in order for us to download the standards.
It only tells us this after screen 3 of required information comes up.
Maybe you can let the website designer know that this is frustrating to anyone who is concerned about privacy or who wants to reduce the amount of paper mail they receive. |

Good news, I was able to bypass the street address stuff by just not completing the account entry, and I can get to the add to cart and download area now.
I wish there were an option to download all standards in my shopping cart together. Instead each one must be done individually. Also, my inbox is flooded with a separate email for each download instead of one email summarizing the order.
This is all just meant to be constructive feedback. I'm very excited that the new drafts and standards are finally available. Thanks for posting it here! |
