On a current HUD financed project the HUD reviewer wants the Architect to include a number of G Series AIA forms in the Project Manual. Are these considered Division 0 documents or should they be included in an Appendix? |

They're largely administrative forms. They have no relationship to the project until they are completed and entered into the project record. We sometimes refer to some of them under an 006000 Project Forms heading as information. But we do not include the forms anywhere. The project manual is not meant to contain anything and everything you can think of; tell the reviewer you'll hand out samples at the PreCon just in case this is the first project any of the bidders has competed. |

The reviewer wants the forms included in the Project Manual, I did create spec sections under 006000 numbering to keep everything consistent. Phil. HUD has gotten very tough lately, this year HUD is requiring Radon Prevention specs in Project manual even if there aint no radon to be found in So Florida. |

Good grief! Next thing HUD will be requiring life boat specs down there in South Florida in case the pumps fail! What's next? |

Pumps, what pumps? We ain't got no pumps, you must be thinking of New Orleans? Maybe you are referring to the sea level rise that is affecting portions of South Beach? Most of the HUD work is on the mainland, no where near the beach. |
