How about something like Section 124846 - Static-Control Resilient Floor Mats?

It appears that when trying to limit static you would want the mat to conduct to bleed off the excess electrons while I understand the electrical safety rubber mats want to be non-conductive.

Interesting point, Mark - I appreciate your correction - or at least caution - to my suggestion.

This points to the fact that in order to write specifications for this product, one would need to know what are the performance requirements. It may turn out that this should be specified in something like Section 124849 - Non-Conductive Resilient Floor Mats. I do like to avoid using the word "safety" in specifications.
