Division 10 in one of the signage sections. Have you consulted www.masterformat.com?

The glass signage is a type of panel sign with a mounting that permits it to project from the surface that it is mounted to.

sathesh - section numbers are based on "work results". 10 1423 is Panel Signage. It doesn't matter if the sign is made of aluminum, glass or paper. If you want to write separate sections based on material types, you have the option to add a decimal and two digits (e.g. 10 1423.13 Glass Panel Signage) but you certainly don't need to do that.

A note about Sathesh from when he registered in the forum:

"I work as a Sr.Architect in Kuwait. Im also an international associate of American institute of Architect.I have been writing Masterspec 3 part Specification for a small project. Even though im not in the US, We in the middle east very much follow Masterformat system with Masterspec."

My suggestion to Sathesh is that the exact specification section number is not important. What is important is that the general contractor, subs and suppliers find the product and know it is included.

Most will know that Division 10 is specialties and 10-14xx is signs. The exact number is not important.

Thanks Peter Curt and Colin. I would then certainly go for 10 14 23 Panel signage and include Glass blade signage. Thanks again Colin for such an wonderful forum where architects like me get the insight of 3 part specs to depths. I have been going through all discussions and it is very knowledgeable.
